Dear future Berliner/Liebe Berliner,
As mentioned in your “Welcome to NYU Berlin” email, I am your NYU Berlin Study Away Advisor. This means that you can think of me as your primary contact for any Berlin-related questions you may have before you arrive. I am also in close communication with the site staff in Berlin, who will ultimately assist you after you arrive.
Our partner office, the NYU Office of Global Services (OGS) will help guide you through the necessary steps you must take in order to navigate the visa and immigration process. So while I cannot help you secure your visa, I can help you with all other steps you must take prior to your departure.
This blog will guide you through the essential steps you must take before your semester away. Each week, I will share new posts covering information related to deadlines, course registration, flights, packing tips, and everything in between. Make sure to read all the posts to stay on top of your requirements. And feel free to share this blog with your families.
On behalf of both the Office of Global Programs and NYU Berlin, congratulations again on your admission! For tips on how to best navigate the blog, please Start Here!
